Next weekend it is St Patrick’s day and I cannot believe that I have not made a St Patrick’s day DIY yet. This week I decided to make a cute St Patrick’s day decoration for my kitchen. I used some recycled wood from some wooden palettes I had in the garden to make this shamrock string art. This is a really fun an easy DIY and it was also my first time to attempt string art. I put together a Youtube video showing you how easy it was to make this DIY and I will leave the video below for you. I used a shamrock that I got from Mr Price as my template for the shamrock but you could print a shamrock off of Pinterest if you needed one. I also got my panel pins from Mr price and these were only a few euro. I picked up the green coloured wool from Sostrene Grene and I used one ball of wool for this DIY. If you are making this DIY with children just be extra careful when hammering in the pins as I even hammered my finger by accident. Also, don’t worry if you don’t have any wood for your backdrop as you could use a canvas as your backdrop for this DIY.
I hope you liked my St Patricks day DIY. Please share this DIY if you enjoyed it and don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel if you found this video helpful.
