Christmas Home Styling
It is that time of year again! Time to change up the house and make it all festive. I have put together a video over on my Youtube sharing how I decorated the house this Christmas. You can also check out last years video here too. It is mad what a difference a year makes. I picked up a few new pieces for the home this year. The biggest change this year was the addition of a second Christmas tree to my bedroom. This month I have had the pleasure of working with two brands over Chrimstas, so, I had two new tree’s to work with this year. As I have space in my master bedroom I decided it would be fun to add a Christmas tree to it.
Budget Christmas Tree
The tree in my master was a bargain! I teamed up with Dealz alongside Karen from lovelygirliebits.com and we dressed our trees using the Christmas decorations from Dealz. I went for jewel tones and Karen went for a traditional red and gold theme. It cost me €27 to decorate my tree. So if you are on a budget then definitely check them out.
DIY Bauble Wreath
Last week I had a try at making my own Christmas wreath using up some new and old baubles. I loved how this turned out. I have it hanging on my bedroom door. If you want to recreate your own bauble wreath then check out this blog post here. I also have a Youtube video showing how I made it too.
I try and have a little bit of Christmas decor in each room. In the kitchen, I have some garlands going across the top of my kitchen cabinets. I have dressed the shelf with some Christmas ornaments too which you can see in my Youtube video.
In the living room, I have just kept it similar to last year and I have my new tree which is a 7ft luxury tree from Harvey Norman. I teamed up with them this year for their Instagram giveaway and I got to keep the tree. I dressed it more traditionally to my other tree. I just added Christmas stockings and a garland to my fireplace.
You might have seen my Pennies homeware haul from early November where I got some Winter pieces to give my guest bedroom a refresh. I loved Christmas pieces from Pennies this Winter. I loved how they had a lot of rose gold and blush tones.
Don’t forget to check out my video below to get a better look at how I styled my house this Christmas. Please let me know what you liked the most. Have you gotten your tree up yet? Tag me in your festive decor pics over on my Instagram.
