This weeks crafty makes.

IHi everyone!

So I have been kept busy making little crafty items over the past two weeks.

Which is why I was a bit slack with my posts.

As its communions season I have been making fun items like bunting, my letter boxes, some cushions and I also made a little chair too.

Below is loads of pics of the items I have made over the last fortnight.

Firstly let me share my little upcycled pub chair.

This was a very dark wood and painted in autenico superior eggshell in the shade neutral.

I adored the fabric! Originally i had a different idea for the chair but when I went to hickeys and seen this I just had to have it.

I made a little cushion also for the chair.

I took the pad from an old cushion from pennies and used it in this.

Now for my letter boxes.

I have been practising these and coming up with new designs, I had an idea for glitter and when I asked Mia what her fave colour was for her boxes she said gold! So I went with gold glitter!!

You will see the bunting above, I got this bunting kit in hickeys but I have also seen them online.

Really easy and cheap to make your own custom bunting and you will save a fortune on a printed banner.

This kit was €3.

As I had half a metre if pink stripe fabric left over I decided to make a cushion.

I used a hot glue gun to stick on the letters however this isn’t suitable for small children and I have found small letters that sew in so I will experiment with them.

I have having fun practising getting my love hearts straight!

Now lastly is my bunting!

Loving making bunting at the moment. My favourite part is picking and matching fabric together!

This was the finished result. Really pleased with how it turned out. It is two metres long and I used six flags but could add more flags to make it fuller.
