Vintage florals with Laura Ashley.

Spring wardrobe refresh.

Its finally February and its officially Spring, I have a special love for February as it is my birthday month, the days get a little longer each day and their is shoots coming up in the garden. I am not a lover of Winter at all, I am definitely a Spring baby at heart. Today I have a gorgeous floral outfit from Laura Ashley that will breath new life into your wardrobe.

My favourite thing about Spring is the brighter evenings, I know the clocks don’t change until March but I can see a difference already. I love coming home from work and seeing that it is still bright. The dark evenings really get me down so even that extra hour of sunlight is a tonic for my mood. I find when its brighter I tend to do more, wether its a cup of tea in the garden or a quick walk after work I just love getting outside. The simplest of things give me the most joy. I feel like In Spring I dust away the cobwebs of Winter.

I picked an outfit from the Vintage romance collection on the Laura Ashley website. Those of you who follow me for awhile know my love of florals! Wether its floral in the house or floral in the wardrobe I just have a soft spot for floral prints. I seen this collection at the Laura Ashley press day so I was delighted when I seen it had touched down on their website. I chose the floral frill sleeved top and teamed it with the green cord pinafore dress. I am in love with the ditsy florals in this top, they are so dainty and timeless and the little frill on the sleeve makes it so delicate and romantic.

For the details I went with the cross body bag in the matching vintage print. Perfect size for rambling on my day off as it fits my phone, camera and a lippy. I also picked the pink textured scarf for a pop of colour. It also makes the outfit a little more practical as I know Spring is still freezing so this pretty scarf will keep away the chill on the fresh mornings.

What is your favourite thing about Spring and what are you most looking forward to?

I hope you enjoyed todays post and thank you so much for stopping by and reading.
