Kinvara skincare.
Hi guys, some of you might remember me picking up these Kinvara goodies at the craft and design fair in the Rds earlier on this month. I have been using them the last month and want to share a mini review on the products.
Now I know I am not a beauty blogger but what I loved the most about this brand was that it was an Irish business and I love to support local Irish brands as much as possible. What caught my eye (or nose should I say) was the smell of both the cleansing oil and serum as they smelt like a day at the spa, smelt delicious just like when you get a facial.
I picked up the cleansing oil and the rosehip facial serum.
I have dry dehydrated skin that feels tight after washing so was on the hunt for something that would replenish and re hydrate my skin.
I started off by doing a deep cleanse at night and the amazing thing was how this lifted off my heavy make up, as I work in retail I wear quite heavy makeup so I don’t look like a ghost under the harsh lights.
The one thing I would say is don’t be tempted to be heavy handed with the oil, a little really does go a long way, I massage one small pump on my wet face and then wipe away with a warm damp cloth, the smell is devine and I feel like its a spa treatment.
Here is a link to their website with full details on the oil cleansing method.
I found after the first week I had some spots on my chin and forehead but they went away quickly and overall I had more glowing hydrated skin and looked more plump in the cheeks.
What I love the most is the fact my skin doesn’t feel tight and when I wake up in the morning I have no black marks of mascara, It really is amazing at lifting off my layers of mascara.
The rosehip serum smells so fruity and amazing and leaves a lovely feeling on the skin especially when you use it at night and wake up the next morning.
The one thing I will stress is use a tiny amount especially if using under your make up, if you have oily skin then definitely use a smaller amount, as a treat I put a little extra oil on every other night and tie my hair back and when I wake up my skin is so smooth and hydrated.
As you can see in the above pic I am a fan of a full face of make up so if your looking for something that is strong at removing make up but kind to your skin then the cleansing oil is definitely worth a try, If you pop over to their website kinvaraskincare.com you can order a sample size so you can have a try before you buy.
I think the rosehip day cream is next on my list to try, when these run out I think il treat myself to the full set that is on their site for 60 euro, I think this is great value as my bottles are not even a third gone after using them all month.
Let me know if you have tried this skincare range and whats your fave item.
