Small business spotlight, LoveOlli

LoveOlli haul

This week I got some happy mail from the guys over at LoveOllie. What caught my eye about this brand was the stunning vintage style patterns and old world look of the products. A lot of the items are handmade too and they are also an Irish company. LoveOllie is created by designer Olive McCaughan. I got to pick my fave pieces off their website and I am going to share them today with you.

Vintage style soy wax candle

I picked the vintage red letter day soy wax candle which is hand poured in the UK. What I love the most is the packaging. It comes in a patterned tin and inside is the cutest packet of pink head matches. They are actually too cute to use, so I lit my candle with a lighter. The scent is fresh and citrusy with a hint of vanilla. The candles are £19.99 and you can find them here.

Patterned wash bag

How fab is this wash bag. Perfect sized to store your every day make up items or even better for travelling. In a gorgeous vintage style floral pattern it would look pretty as a picture on any bathroom shelf. It is also the perfect size for travelling or a weekend away, I can fit all my makeup and toiletries in it. You can find it here.

The scented soap and handmade dish

Hands up who loves to have a posh bar of soap in the downstairs toilet that guests use. I am guilty of this and this is the perfect soap and dish to have in your bathroom. It smells amazing but most of all it is packaged so beautifully. I love the vintage style paper it is wrapped in and the little red bow. I picked the orange clove and cinnamon scent and it smells amazing! You can find it here.

The dish is handmade by a local ceramic artist and it is made to fit the ribboned soap bars. It is hand stamped and I got the one that says” Dream big dreams”. You can find them here. They are also perfect to use as trinket dishes for your jewellery.

The patterned notebook

I love notebooks, whether it is for jotting down ideas for my blog, to use as an order book for my crafts or to simply sit pretty on a shelf. I cannot get enough of a good notebook. It was the vintage letter pattern of this one that caught my eye. It looks like something from an old style french postcard. It reminded me of an old scrapbook. It is also only £3.99 which is a steal. You can find my one here but do check out the other styles of notebooks as they have gorgeous prints and patterns to choose from.

I hope you like the items I picked today from the LoveOlli website. They kindly sent me the items in this post and I had a pleasure photographing them. I think my favourite piece had to be the candle and pink tipped matches. Let me know which item was your favourite in the comments below?

You can also follow them on Instagram too.

Thanks so much for reading.

Chat soon,

Catherine.

**  This is not a sponsored post, however, the items were kindly sent to me by LoveOlli.
