10 garden DIYs to brighten your outdoor space

My garden isn’t the biggest but I love to treat it as an extra room in my home. Today I am pulling from my blog archives and sharing 10 of my favorite garden DIYs that will instantly brighten your outdoor space. The weather is going to be good this weekend, ( which is rare in Ireland) so why not make the most of it and have a go at some of my DIYs below.

DIY Tyre planter

It can be easy enough to get your hands on an old worn-out tyre. They are easy enough to transform into fun plant pots. All you need to do is stack them up, line them with some hessian and add your flowers. You can also get really creative and paint them in fun colors too. See how I made mine here.

DIY Budget Friendly Flower Wall

Are you hosting a Summer party and want a fun backdrop to take photos? Why not make a paper flower wall. Although this is a cheaper option to a flower wall it is time-consuming. You can have the girls over and make your paper flowers together to ease the workload. Catch the tutorial here.

How to turn a chair into a plant stand and garden shelf

We all have an odd chair lying around that we have no room for but we can’t bear to part with. Why not chop it up and turn it into two items. I cut this old chair into two items and I made a flower pot and a shelf. This is a really great way to fill any gaps in your flower bed and add some color. You can get really creative and paint it in a color to suit your style. Find the full post here.

Paint your garden pieces

I adored this wishing well but I wanted to add some color to it. I used the Autentico Versante matt to transform this piece and I am pleased to report that it has held up really well. This is an old video but I think you will get some inspiration and ideas to paint your old pieces in your garden. Catch the post here.
