You can’t beat a denim dress

Denim Dress Love

Hands up who is sick of the sales in the shops and wants something new in their wardrobe? I have been struggling a little with what to wear for daytime. I feel like I am wearing the same few dresses to work and wanted something new. This time of year is funny in shops, as all the Summer stuff is on sale and the new stuff is looking very Autumnal. This week I stumbled across this denim tunic and it got me thinking how a denim dress is a perfect wardrobe staple as you can wear it in all seasons. So if you are looking for something new in the wardrobe that is perfect for now and perfect for Autumn then have a peep below at my faves.

The dress I am wearing today is from Dorothy Perkins. I don’t normally go for a tunic style as I am quite an hour glass in shape and need something with a waist. This shape of dress tends to be tight on my thighs and loose on my waist so I decided to go up a size in this dress and I am really pleased with it. I would say that this denim dress is a small fit so just bear that in mind if you do order it. I just loved the embroidered detail across the chest. It also has a really pretty fringe detail on the hem. The length isn’t too bad either and sits just above my knee.

Whilst scrolling through Asos and Dorothy Perkins I stumbled across some other adorable denim dresses, perfect for different shapes and sizes. You can scroll the images below and click to shop too.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Do let me know if you pick up any of the denim dresses from this post and don’t forget to tag me over on Instagram too.
