Dainty’s dirty laundry

laundr.ie

Hi everyone,

A very fun post today and a helpful one for my shabby chic ladies who are busy crafters, mammies and all around girl bosses who just don’t have time to be waiting on that washing machine and waiting for the ”great drying day out there” lol.

The lovely chaps over at laundr.ie gave me some free credit to try out their laundry service app. I have to say I am a huge fan! If you are in Dublin you can have your dry cleaning and washing collected from your door and then delivered back to your door step in a time slot that suits you.

I was on my day of so having my morning tea I used the app to get a collection between 12pm-1pm, a lovely chap arrived on time and collected my dirty bed spreads (apologies laundr.ie for the cat hair) and then they came back Saturday evening at 8pm!!.

Who delivers your washing at 8pm on a Saturday night, maybe your mammy? This was great for me as I was working 10-7pm, I was expecting them like most business to only deliver between normal working hours but nope these guys will deliver later after work which is just amazing service, I work in retail so I appreciate this kind of service.

Have a peep below and I will pop in some prices of popular items and what mine cost.

I had some grubby bed spreads that I was struggling to get washed and dried with the Irish weather, my fellow shabby chic ladies will know the pain of trying to get these dried.

I only have my day off to try get these dried as if I put them on the washing line going to work 9 hours later when I return they have had the full 4 seasons of weather thrown at them and need to be washed again.

My days off are precious especially the last few as I am busy making bears for the craft fair in May so I don;t have time to be watching for showers lol.

The bed spreads were €18 collected and delivered.

I also sent Mr Dainty’s blazer which was €8.50

I sent my Guinness stained little mistress dress (apologies again, but im sure you have seen worse stains) and that was €12

You can also sent a load of washing up 6 kgs for €15 washed and folded.

Duvets start from €16 for a single up t0 €22 for a king.

2 piece suit €14.50

All prices include it being collected and delivered from your choice of address.

Let me know if you have tried out this service and how you got on.
