What I have been up to.

Hi everyone,
So this week I have been busy and have not had much of a chance to blog so I thought I would share what is keeping me busy,
First of all the day job is keeping me very busy, working full time is hard and trying to fit in my crafts.
I am back in sewing class on Monday evenings and I am loving them, learning lots of new things and makes for the home.

This little chap above is my first attempt at making a bear, my teacher brought these in to show us and I just had to make one, I am going to practice and make another in some shabby chic fabric.

I also made a cute sock and have had a lot of people asking if I will be selling them but unfortunately I wont be making them to sell as I have been kept so busy making the personalised frames below.

I love making the personalised frames and love seeing people reaction to them and getting their feedback. These are available in the Etsy shop or you can send me an email in the contact link above.

As always you can find me over on Instagram @daintydressdiaries and on snapchat @daintydiaries. I might not be able to post as much on the blog but you can still find me over there where I try and post daily.

Let me know what your doing to keep yourself busy in the Winter and don't forget to leave your blog link in the comments section below.

I attended on the Sunday and I highly recommend any brides to be to make sure they go to the next event as it was full of amazing stalls and it looked like real life Pinterest, lots of inspiration and ideas.

For a full list of the companies that were at the event you can find a direct link here.
For anybody not familiar with one fab day then you can check out their website here.
They have an amazing directory of companies on their site and lots of wedding inspiration so if your tired of them same boring weddings and wanting something fun and different then definitely check them out.

Also for the brides not to be like me this gave me so much inspiration for my interior, their was a lot of beautiful florist stands and venue stands which had really inspiring displays. I also now want a caravan after seeing the amazing vantastic vintage pink caravan.

For the vintage brides there was a stunning room where you could see all the amazing dresses and there was also workshops on and make up and hair demos too.

I have loads of pictures for you below to enjoy so have a flick through and let me know whats your fave in the comments below.

I will also let you all know when the next fair will be held so fingers crossed their will be one in spring.

Alice in wonderland style floating teacups

Thanks for stopping by.
I was working on an order of floating tea cups this week and wanted to share them with you.

If you want to find out how to make these i have a diy post here.
A lovely lady I work with asked me to make seven of these as she wanted them for Christmas presents.
This is a great idea as I know I would love to receive a handmade present.

These are also a fab idea for weddings table decorations.
I used a mixture of fake flowers I got from the pound shop to decorate these cups and added some stick on sparkles to the flowers which I got for 1.49 in Dealz.

At the moment I don't have these in my Etsy shop as I have ran out of tea cups for these but I am on the hunt for more tea cups and I also want to make sure I can package them perfectly so they wont damage in the post before I list them on Etsy.

This weekend I will be going to the glitter studio wedding fair that is hosted by One fab day and I will share all the fab creative ideas I see and will hopefully get lots of inspiration to share with you.

Don't forget to leave the link to your blog in the comment section for me to check out.
Let me know what you think of the cups below.

Autumn wedding guest style with dresses.ie

Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by.

Today I want to share this little stunner of a dress that I got from dresses.ie
During the week I was kindly invited to attend dresses.ie Christmas showcase event that was held in the meeting house.
The new stock is gorgeous and some of my fave brands are stocked on the website like Chi Chi and Little Mistress.
When I seen this dress on a rail I fell in love. This dress will be live on their website this week and I will update this post with a link to it when its on the site.

**update** dress now live on website and copy and past this link

You can also get free next day delivery on your order which is really handy for an Irish site especially if you need it last minute for the weekend.

I attended a gorgeous wedding in the stunning Bellingham castle in Castlebellingham on Saturday.
I chose to wear this dress as I loved the color and shape and felt like a doll in it.

I just paired my dress with black shoes and black purse, as I am a size 2 foot I find it so hard to get heels so I have staple pairs in black and nude.

The fabric on this dress is lovely and heavy and holds its shape all day and didn't crease when I was sitting at the dinner table.

I just loved how this dress matched the autumn backdrop and cant wait to wear this dress over Christmas.
I fell in love with Belingham castle and for any brides to be if its in your budget I would definitely check this venue out.

We had full run of the house and I loved how it was only our wedding party and guests in the hotel. Everyone was having so much fun rambling around the grounds and rooms in the venue.
My fave was the little country style kitchen with adorable cupcakes and tea cups.

The stunning Danielle done my make up and she always has a way of making my blue eyes pop and love getting my make up done by here as I learn new ways of using make up.
You can find all her details here.

Thanks so much for stopping by let me know if you have found any adorable autumn dresses and leave the link to your blog in the comments section.
