Autumn occasionwear
The evenings may be getting darker but what better way to brighten them up than with some gorgeous occasionwear. In October I have two events that I needed to pick up some cocktail style dresses for, I thought I would put together a post and share what I found out there when looking for occasion dresses this week.
If you have a wedding or an event it can be hard to find the right dress. You also don’t want to spend a fortune either as I find I will only wear them once. The dresses in this post are mostly under the €100 mark. I love darker colours for this time of year, I love the florals of Summer but for Autumn I love the darker tones. I think they flatter our Irish skin tones perfectly.
The dress above is called the Bella dress and it is from the new collection from Chi Chi London. Like all the Chi Chi dresses I get I find them to be on the smaller size. I am wearing a size 10, I find them to be fitted and no stretch. I love the shape they give though. They are just so feminine and romantic.
The next two dresses I have are both from iclothing. When I was at their press day I fell in love with this printed dress. Also, it has pockets! We all know I adore a dress with pockets. This is a midi length and it is quite long on me so I ay get the length altered. I just love the print detail and the tone of the colour.

Coming up next week I have the Littlewoods Ireland blog awards and I wanted something elegant and classic. I am going to wear this navy number below. I love the combo of a navy dress and a red lip. It feels like old Hollywood glamour. I like to give myself loose vintage style waves to compliment the style of the dress.

When looking online I found a few sites that had really good occasionwear, iclothing, Asos, Chi Chi London and Little Mistress all had some really fab Autumn occasionwear.

As usual, you always find the best dresses! I envy you. Unfortunately I cannot wear lovely dresses like so on an everyday basis. Maybe I should open a tearoom to do so. Combining two loves: tea and dresses
