June's craft orders.

Memory order's

Hiya everyone,
I know it is still June but I just wanted to share some of this months order's.
June was a busy month with some orders received from the craft fair in May and lots of orders from exisiting customers.

This month I even got a request for two wedding bears which was a really fun make as I got to make a veil for the bride bear.
A lovely floral christening bear also got a new home with some personalised wedding frame too.

The Dublin jersey bear below was made from a jersey for a little lady called Lucy from her dads jersey. Then I had the pleasure of turning two baby dresses into small bears for a sentimental keep sake.

One of my faves this month was the scout bear, scroll down below for pics. This was a bear and a frame made from a scout shirt. I managed to keep all of the patches and sew them onto the bear.

Have a peep below at some pics and let me know which one is your fave.

For order enquiries drop me an email by filling out the contact form or click here for more info on bears and frames.
At present memory orders are taking 2 weeks to make.

Thanks so stopping by,
Catherine.

** Each hand crafted teddy bear is made from cotton and cotton blend fabrics.
Stuffed with non allergenic polyester fiber fill and finished with safety eyes.

Laura Ashley press day aw16

A/W 2016

Hiya, I had such a fun day in London on Tuesday for the Laura Ashley press day. I went to the Laura Ashley head quarters in Bagleys lane in London to have a peep at their fashion and interior Autumn/Winter collections.
It was an early start for me as I hopped on a plane from Dublin to London and made my way to the press day. You might have seen all the snaps from the day on snapchat but in case you missed it I have loads of pictures below.

Their is a color and collection for every taste, so if your like me and like more creamy airy interiors or if your a farmhouse gingham girl then there is something for you, also I am loving the pineapple wallpaper and lamps which is a fun modern trend without looking tacky.

I also had a ramble around the fashion section and fell in love with all the gorgeous skirts and dresses from the autumn collection, I loved the rich colors and the heavier fabrics.
The displays were amazing, I loved the vintage dress patterns and sewing machine set up.

There is some really gorgeous new wallpapers and fabrics so if your like me and change your wallpaper before the paste even gets a chance to dry then you will find a new wallpaper to lust after.

I also got to have a peep at Christmas, even though it is only June this was still exciting, gorgeous snow globes to fun Christmas tree decorations and I also was loving the lovely scented candles and the country kitchen trinkets and accessories.

The collections will start to touch down In August.

Let me know what your fave trend is and if you are planning any diy projects for Autumn, Don't forget to tag me in your pics as I love seeing your transformation pics and love getting inspiration from you.
Have a peep below at all of the pics from the day.

A mosses basket shabby chic face lift.

A mini mosses face lift.

Hi everyone,
So for those of you who are following me on Snapchat and Instagram you will know I am getting a nephew, baby items are ridiculously expensive so I wanted to give a present that would be special and sentimental. This is the first grandchild and the first of us to have babies in the family so I wanted to make something that was timeless and that could be used again.

I don't like baby items that are branded and overly printed, I like simple classic styles and nice fabrics and things with a vintage feel.
The lovely Claire gave me this mosses basket as she was finished using it, As my brother is having a boy I changed the whole fabric set to a neutral white.

Have a read below for a how to and a list of products I used.

Bloom in the park 2016

Its officially summer.

Well aren't we having some amazing weather this week in Ireland. Today was my day off and I got up super early to head to the Bloom flower festival that is on in the phoenix park until Monday 6th of June.
If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend and you love all things floral and shabby chic then you will love this.
I paid €20 at the door for my ticket but I think you can buy your ticket online for €18 also under 16 children go free, I was tempted to chance my arm and see if I could get in for free but even though I am small I didn't get away with it lol.

If you missed my super long snapchat story on bloom then have a flick below of my pics of all the fab show gardens, stalls and flowers from the day.
It was my first time to go to the festival and I cannot believe I haven't been before.

My best tip is go really early, I arrived around 9am and it was lovely to see everything and chat to gardeners but by 12 it was soooo busy.

I even got a quick snap of the president as he had a wander through all the gardens.

As for shopping I picked up a pretty pink bushy thing ( please remember I am a very amateur beginer gardener and this terminology is perfectly acceptable) so keep an eye on instagram and I will share a pic of it planted in its new home, I also picked up some wax melts and got to meet the lovely Joanne from Island living interiors.

Also I had a few people ask me about parking, I paid €5 to park in the green car park, I came in from the Castlenock entrance to phoenix park so this was easier for me, also if you buy plants there is helpers who bring your items to your car if they are too big and heavy for you.

Well have a peep below and let me know if you are going or have been and what your fave things from the day were in the comments section below.
