Craft fair may 22nd Royal marine hotel

My first fair.

Eek, the countdown is on, it is only one week until the craft fair in the Royal Marine hotel and I am starting to get super nervous.
I have been working hard to make enough bears and frames and some bunting too.
For details on the location of the hotel click here, it is in Dun Laoghaire south co.Dublin and is on exit 14 on m 50 and you can also get the dart.

Have a peep below at some of the items I have made so far.
I have made almost 28 bears and I am hoping to have 40 units made in total so if you really want one make sure to set a reminder for the 22nd.
There is only 2/3 units of each design so make sure to get your fave before it is gone.

Bears and frames will be €25 and bunting from €12.

Also if you have an item of clothing that you would like made into a memory bear then bring it along to the fair and I can have a look at it and take it with me and I can make it into a bear or cushion for you.

I have been having lots of fun preparing for the fair but if you have any tips and advice to help me I would greatly appreciate it, leave your tips/blog links in the comment section below.

Summer florals

My new fave dress.

Hi everyone, thanks for popping by.
Here is this stunner of a dress that I had on Instagram earlier today, I absolutely love it and it is by my faves vesper247
The print is just so pretty and perfect for a fun summer occasion.
I styled mine with some pearls from tropica pearls which you might have seen in my last outfit post, I have some more details on them below.

You can find the dress here and it is £64, I got a size 8 and it is in the same stretchy fabric like the body con styles from Vesper.
The shape of the dress is so flattering for curves and is my fave shape to wear. It nips me in at the waist and then skims over the tummy area.

Have a peep below at the pics and let me know what you think in the comments.

Feeling fab in florals.

When your dress matches the decor.

So here is is ladies, I posted this dress on Instagram last night and loads of you ladies were loving it so here is some more pics of the dress and a look at it on.

The important stuff,

Price? €60
Fit? I got a size 10, i think its a generous fit, there is no stretch however, if you are petite the shoulders might be slightly big but nothing a little alterations can't fix, the length is to my knee and I am 4ft 11'' so my taller ladies have a peep at the model on the website to get a better idea.

I seen this dress on dresses.ie snapchat and just fell in love, when I got it and had it hanging on the living room door it looked like it was made for my house! it just matches the decor perfect, its like the perfect shabby chic dress.

This would be perfect for a ladylike afternoon tea, it would be also perfect for any brides for a day two dress and for the ladies day ladies who love to flutter on the horses this would be a perfect for Punchestown, the Curragh or Galway ladies day festivals.
It would look gorgeous teamed with a stunning pink or blue head piece to pick up on the dainty flowers.

Have a peep at the pics below and don't forget to say Hi in the comments section and leave your link to your blog so I can have a peep.

Dainty's dirty laundry

laundr.ie

Hi everyone,
A very fun post today and a helpful one for my shabby chic ladies who are busy crafters, mammies and all around girl bosses who just don't have time to be waiting on that washing machine and waiting for the ''great drying day out there'' lol.

The lovely chaps over at laundr.ie gave me some free credit to try out their laundry service app. I have to say I am a huge fan! If you are in Dublin you can have your dry cleaning and washing collected from your door and then delivered back to your door step in a time slot that suits you.

I was on my day of so having my morning tea I used the app to get a collection between 12pm-1pm, a lovely chap arrived on time and collected my dirty bed spreads (apologies laundr.ie for the cat hair) and then they came back Saturday evening at 8pm!!.

Who delivers your washing at 8pm on a Saturday night, maybe your mammy? This was great for me as I was working 10-7pm, I was expecting them like most business to only deliver between normal working hours but nope these guys will deliver later after work which is just amazing service, I work in retail so I appreciate this kind of service.

Have a peep below and I will pop in some prices of popular items and what mine cost.

I had some grubby bed spreads that I was struggling to get washed and dried with the Irish weather, my fellow shabby chic ladies will know the pain of trying to get these dried.
I only have my day off to try get these dried as if I put them on the washing line going to work 9 hours later when I return they have had the full 4 seasons of weather thrown at them and need to be washed again.
My days off are precious especially the last few as I am busy making bears for the craft fair in May so I don;t have time to be watching for showers lol.

The bed spreads were €18 collected and delivered.
I also sent Mr Dainty's blazer which was €8.50
I sent my Guinness stained little mistress dress (apologies again, but im sure you have seen worse stains) and that was €12

You can also sent a load of washing up 6 kgs for €15 washed and folded.
Duvets start from €16 for a single up t0 €22 for a king.
2 piece suit €14.50
All prices include it being collected and delivered from your choice of address.

Let me know if you have tried out this service and how you got on.
