Video: Laura Ashley ss 17 new collection.

Laura Ashley spring summer 2017 press day.

Today I flew over to London for the Laura Ashley press day, this is one of my favourite press days to go to as the displays are amazing and give me so much inspiration.

I also got to see lots of my Instagram buddies too which is amazing and the girls in Laura Ashley are always so lovely its like a little family.

I have tons of photos in this post so put the kettle on and put your feet up and have a peep at all the interior fabulousness.

The press show was held in the Laura Ashley head office in Bagleys lane, it is in a gorgeous part of London near Chelsea, the head office itself used to be a bus station and you can still see some of the features in the building like the large panels metal doors.

It was amazing to see Spring Summer in Winter as I hate Winter, there was fab new colours and wallpapers and of course lots of trinkets!

I have my eye on a wallpaper already!

I normally veer towards pastels and more shabby chic styles but I have to say I am adoring the hot pink and floral collection.

The name of this collection is floral heritage and I am loving it.

I am not bold enough to change a full room to this style but I definitely think I will add some elements of it, I just love the energy from the bright colours.

My second fave has to be the Park lane collection, this is more my colour palette but it has hues of blush pink and how fab are the rose gold accessories.

You’ll probably remember me re decorating my living room with the Beatrice cyclamen wallpaper, I think I might give it a refresh after Christmas with some of the blush pink and rose gold accessories, what do you think?

For my dress lovers you will love the new dresses, lots of ditsy floral prints in a vintage style, lots of classic tea dresses and bohemian styles. Really pretty skirts too and I spotted some gorgeous bags in floral print too.

Some of the gorgeous spring dresses will be in stores from as early as January so we will be able to get our hands on some transitional pieces.

I got to meet the gorgeous Sam from @dove_cottage, the doll Louise from @thevintageroom, the lovely Sally from @gettingstuffdoneinheels and of course Charlotte and Carol from @thehomethatmademe which was my second time to meet them in the space of two weeks and always a pleasure! ( hope you have a fab Birthday Carol ).

I absolutely love when I get to meet people I follow and blogs I read and I love how when we meet its like we have known each other for years! For me this is one of the reasons why I love blogging, I love meeting like minded people and I have to say everyone is so lovely.

What is your Favourite piece from the new collections?

I have to say my favourite piece was these spoons!! how amazing are these kitchen trinkets!

Let me know what you think in the comments section below and don’t forget I am editing a Vlog of the day as we speak and I am hoping to have it live soon so check back or keep an eye over on my Instagram.
