My mini living room makeover.

Spring has sprung.

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by, today I just want to share some pics of my mini Laura Ashley makeover with you.

You might of seen in this blog post that back in January I picked up this Beatrice Cyclamen wall paper from Laura Ashley in the January sales. I had seen this in the AW magazine and just loved it, I picked up a sample and decided to go for it,Now it took a few weeks of persistent nagging to get it hung on the wall but as you can see I finally got it up.

Some of you might remember my damask wallpaper that I had which I did love but I just wanted to inject a bit of color into the room for spring.

My living room gets daylight in the mornings so wanted some subtle color to lift the room when the lighting was dull in afternoon.

So to freshen up the room I used two rolls of this Laura Ashley wallpaper, a meter and a half meter of the matching fabric to make some cushions and I painted my skirting boards cream,

For a diy in skirting boards you can have a peep here.

Have a peep below at the pics and share and tag your diy projects over on Instagram and in the comments below.

Catherine.

All of the furniture in the pic including the fireplace is all painted, if you click on the upcycle projects tab above you will find posts on each of these if you fancy tackling the job yourself.

If you have a sewing machine gathering dust then get it out and have a peep on you tube as an envelope back cushion is so simple to make and saves you a fortune.

You might remember this cushions from my spring home ware haul post.
