Dainty's dots

Hi everyone!

Finally a dress post.
This time of year I find i go through a bit of a dress drought. I'm not a massive fan of winter and find there is a severe shortage of cute tea dresses!

However I am having a bit of a dotty phase and found these two dresses that are perfect for winter but will get you through to spring also!

This first one is from my fave boutique label closet.
Always a flattering fit and perfect for hidding those extra winter curves.

I got mine altered shorter as it was too long on me. This dress is perfect for both day time and then perfect for pub drinks with a heeled ankle boot.

My next dotty number is this burgundy dress from a brand called billie and blossom. You can find this brand on dorothyperkins.com.

If your short like me I would reccomend getting this altered shorter like I did.
I got an inch and half taken off.
Don't be afraid to buy dresses you love that don't fit you perfectly as if you can find a seamstress you like then they can alter your dresses to your frame.

I will have some festive home posts coming soon as I have been buying and making some Christmas decorations and cannot wait till December to put them up.

Check out my previous blog post on how I painted my kitchen for €100.
I have had lots of feedback from people wanting to try it themselves and have the all the products I used mentioned in this post.

  1. How much does it cost to have dresses altered? I have the opposite problem, mine are usually too short!
